I am writing this article to express my disgust with the current situation at Wikipedia. Recently, Wikipedia's founder, Jimbo Wales, limited speech on Wikipedia by permanently deleting many userboxes. He claims that these userboxes divide the Wikipedia community. The truth is that these templates do not do this. He is only acting out of his dislike for the userboxes.

Wikipedia was created for the people. It was created for the people to be made by the people. This is a violation of the encyclopedia's original purpose and can not be tolerated. Because of this, I am announcing that I am leaving Wikipedia temporarily, if not indefinitely. I am also urging you to quit Wikipedia. Together we can show Mr. Wales that the Wikipedia community will not tolerate censorship.
